You can use the milk of your choice, skimmed, vegetable, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Honey or syrup (optional):<\/strong> for a sweeter recipe with less banana taste, I like to use a bit of honey or syrup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Oat flakes or oat flour:<\/strong> this is the foundation of the recipe, you can use whatever type of oats you prefer, however, the flour will leave a more homogeneous texture. The intention of the recipe is to make the dough very dense to resemble a cookie. For a slightly lighter version, add less flour (around 1\/3 cup).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Yeast:<\/strong> this will aid in giving the baked oats a bit of rise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chopped 70% chocolate:<\/strong> A delightful finishing touch to the recipe.
